Challenge

We implemented a unified ecosystem for residents, management companies, and service providers. High security requirements. Implemented multi-layered protection for the platform and IoT devices. Development journey
We built a scalable digital platform for a modern residential complex that unites residents, management companies, and technical staff in a single ecosystem. The main idea is to automate daily processes, improve service quality, and create a smart infrastructure. The platform is designed as a scalable microservice ecosystem with real-time scenarios and IoT infrastructure support. The platform serves complex residents, management companies, and contractors/technical staff. UX is built around the idea of “single ecosystem experience”. The user has to decide most of the routine tasks in one app. Key principles: minimization of the number of actions; quick access to common functions; transparency of application statuses; unified visual style across web and mobile. Particular attention was paid to the convenience of real-time scenarios: the management company communication, live updates, and IoT functions integrations.
Solution
Resident App: A central app for residents with access to all resident complex services: digital keys and guest QR codes, video intercom, applications to the management company, news and voting, common area reservations, IoT device management, and payment for services.
Application for contractors: An app for staff and technicians: receiving and processing requests, changing work statuses, photo reports, chat with residents, and task history.
Administrative panel: Platform management system: resident and employee management, request dispatching, property management, content and partner moderation, and role and access management.
IoT & Smart Home infrastructure: Smart devices integration: digital access, device management, IoT monitoring, secure device onboarding, and OTA firmware updates.
AI assistant integration: Answers to frequently asked questions, assists application navigation, AI support chat, and transfer of complex requests to an operator.
Real-time communication system: Chats between residents and contractors, push notifications, and request status updates in real time.
